The Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) equips students with essential skills in truthful, ethical, and mission-oriented communication. Grounded in Christian values of integrity, discernment, and service, the program develops students’ abilities in news writing, source evaluation, responsible reporting, and multimedia communication. Through the integration of journalistic practice and theological reflection, students are prepared to become thoughtful and principled storytellers who communicate truth faithfully in church, community, and public life.
Upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Arts (Journalism), graduates will be able to:
1. Demonstrate foundational knowledge of journalistic principles, ethics, and professional communication practices.
2. Write clearly, accurately, and responsibly across diverse media and public communication contexts.
3. Critically evaluate sources, information, and social issues with integrity, discernment, and a biblical worldview.
4. Produce a coherent body of journalistic work that reflects truthful, ethical, and mission-oriented communication.
